श्रीरामचरितमानस

Text source: Goswami Tulsidas's Awadhi text only (the editor's Hindi tika is dropped), from the Hindi Wikisource scan of the Belvedere Press, Prayag edition of 1925 (ed. Mahavir Prasad Malviya 'Veer'). Chapters are doha-groups: the chaupais and chhands closed by doha/soratha N carry chapter number N; chapter 0 is the kanda's mangalacharana. Chapters with ocr_unproofread=true come from pages not yet proofread on Wikisource and need a check against a print copy. Chapters that were flagged ocr_unproofread were proofread on 2026-11-01 against the Gita Press text (IIT Kanpur dataset, Kavita Kosh, sanskritdocuments.org, swargarohan.org); each carries a 'proofread' field, and the per-chapter log is docs/texts-issues/ramcharitmanas-proofread.md. Chapter n (and id) is the number of the doha that closes the group, as printed in the 1925 edition (which numbers dohas like the Gita Press). · Public domain (Tulsidas, 16th c.; 1925 edition, Wikisource PD-1996 tag); transcription CC BY-SA 4.0
