Lakshmana suspects Bharata of seeking the throne

Lakshmana goes on. Worldly men who gain power fall into delusion and show it. Bharata was known to all as just, good and devoted to your feet. Yet today, having got the throne, he has come breaking the bounds of dharma. A crooked brother, he watched for the bad hour, knew Rama was alone in the forest, plotted, gathered an army, and has come with Shatrughna to make his rule free of thorns. If there were no deceit in his heart, why bring chariots, horses and elephants? But who can blame Bharata? Power maddens the world. The Moon went to his guru's wife, Nahusha made brahmins carry his palanquin, and Vena turned against world and Veda.
