Janaka is on his way to Chitrakoot

The spies came back and told Janaka's court of Bharata's deeds as best they could. Hearing it, the guru, the household, the ministers and the king were all shaken with grief and love. Taking heart and praising Bharata, the king called his warriors and commanders, set guards over the realm, readied the chariots and elephants, fixed an auspicious hour and set out at once, never resting on the way. This morning they bathed at Prayag and began crossing the Yamuna. Lord, they sent us to bring word. So saying, the messengers bow to the ground. The great sage sends them back at once with six or seven Kiratas as guides. Hearing Janaka is coming, the Ayodhya company rejoices; Raghunandana feels great reserve, and Indra is gripped by worry.
