Angada and Hanuman storm Ravana's palace

The two monkeys, fierce in war, remember Rama's might in their hearts, run up onto Ravana's palace and raise the cry of the lord of Kosala. They seize a mansion with its golden pinnacle and bring it down. Ravana is struck with fear. The women beat their breasts: now two mischief-makers have come. The monkeys frighten them with monkey play. Then gripping golden pillars, they say: let the havoc begin. Roaring, they fall into the midst of the enemy and crush them with the strength of their arms, a kick for one, a slap for another: this is the fruit of not worshipping Rama. They crush rakshasas against one another, tear off heads and hurl them, and the heads fall before Ravana and burst like pots of curd.
