Janaka bows to the circle of munis and receives their blessings. Then he embraces his four sons-in-law. Joining his lotus hands, he speaks to Rama in words that seem born of love. How shall I praise you, Rama, swan of the Manasa lake that is the mind of munis and of Mahesha? For your sake yogis practise yoga, giving up anger, delusion, possessiveness and pride. You are the all-pervading Brahman, imperishable, consciousness and bliss, beyond qualities yet their home, whom neither mind nor speech can know and no reasoning can reach, whose glory the Veda can only describe as neti, not this, the same in all three times. The root of all joy has become visible to my eyes; when Ishvara is gracious, everything comes easily.
