Brahma, thrilled with love, sings a hymn. Hari, ever the home of joy; your fame seized Ravana as Garuda seizes a great serpent. You are made of knowledge, unborn, all-pervading, one and without beginning. You made the lowly Vibhishana a king. The Vedas say, and it is no idle tale, that you are every form yet never become any, as sunlight is both other than the sun and one with it. These monkeys are fulfilled, for they gaze on your face; shame on the deva body that forgets your bhakti. Remove the mind that sees division in me. Grant me lasting love for your lotus feet. Gazing on that ocean of beauty, Brahma's eyes are never satisfied.
