The boys show them the bow-yajna arena

The brothers go to the east of the city, where the ground has been prepared for the bow-yajna. It is a vast paved arena with a fine altar. On all four sides stand large golden platforms where the kings will sit. Behind them, close around, is another ring of platforms a little higher where the townspeople will sit. Near these are large white galleries, from which the women will watch, each according to her family's station. The boys of the city, chattering sweetly, respectfully show the Lord all the arrangements. On this pretext the children, overcome with love, touch His lovely body; they thrill all over, and their hearts swell with joy as they gaze again and again at the two brothers.
