Vishnu's bow and the veil lifted

Shri Rama goes on: whether Deva, Danava, king or warrior, equal in strength or stronger, whoever calls us to battle we will fight gladly, even if he is Death himself. A Kshatriya who flinches from battle shames his race. Raghuvanshis, by nature, do not fear even Kala in war. Such is the greatness of the Brahmin line that whoever fears you becomes fearless. At these soft words, full of hidden meaning, the veil over Parashurama's mind lifts. He says: Rama, take the bow of Ramapati and draw it, so my doubt may end. As he offers the bow, it goes of itself to Shri Rama, and Parashurama is struck with wonder. Knowing Shri Rama's glory, his body thrills, and with joined palms he speaks, his heart overflowing with love.
