The great sage speaks as the hour requires. Hear, assembly, and wise Bharata. Rama, sun of the Solar line, bearer of dharma, is king and Bhagavan, subject to no one. True to his word, guardian of the bounds of the Veda, he was born for the world's good. No one knows policy, love, the highest good and worldly good as Rama does. Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, moon, sun, the guardians of the quarters, maya, karma, time, all lordship and the powers of yoga: think it over and see, Rama's command is on every head. Keeping to Rama's will is our good. Wise ones, consider and agree together on that.
सत्यसन्ध पालक-श्रुति सेतू । राम-जनम जग मगंल हेतू ॥
गुरु पितु मातु बचन अनुसारी । खल दल-दलन देव हितकारी ॥
satyasandha pālaka-śruti setū | rāma-janama jaga magaṃla hetū ||
guru pitu mātu bacana anusārī | khala dala-dalana deva hitakārī ||
नीति प्रीति परमारथ स्वारथ । कोउ न राम सम जान जथारथ ॥
बिधि हरि हर ससि रबि दिसिपाला । माया जीव करम कुलि काला ॥
nīti prīti paramāratha svāratha | kou na rāma sama jāna jathāratha ||
bidhi hari hara sasi rabi disipālā | māyā jīva karama kuli kālā ||
अहिप महिप जहं लगि प्रभुताई । जोग-सिद्धि निगमागम गाई ॥
करि बिचार जिय देखहु नीकें । राम रजाइ सीस सबही कें ॥
ahipa mahipa jahaṃ lagi prabhutāī | joga-siddhi nigamāgama gāī ||
kari bicāra jiya dekhahu nīkeṃ | rāma rajāi sīsa sabahī keṃ ||
राखें राम-रजाइ रुख, हम सब कर हित होइ ।
समुझि सयाने करहु अब, सब मिलि सम्मत सोइ ॥
rākheṃ rāma-rajāi rukha, hama saba kara hita hoi |
samujhi sayāne karahu aba, saba mili sammata soi ||
