Over Dandaka, Chitrakuta, Prayag and Ayodhya
The vimana soon reaches the lovely Dandaka forest, and Rama visits the hermitages of Agastya and the other great munis. Blessed by every rishi, the Lord of the world comes to Chitrakuta. Rama shows Janaki the Yamuna, which washes away the stains of Kali, and then the holy Ganga: bow, Sita, he says. Now see Prayag, king of tirthas, and the most holy Triveni. Then see Ayodhya, holiest of all, which destroys the three afflictions and the disease of birth. With Sita the merciful Lord bows to Ayodhya, his eyes wet with joy. Then he comes down at Triveni, bathes joyfully, and with the monkeys gives many gifts to the brahmanas.
सकल रिषिन्ह सन पाई असीसा । चित्रकूट आयउ जगदीसा ॥
तहँ करि मुनिन्ह केर सन्तोखा । चला बिमान तहाँ ते चोखा ॥
sakala riṣinha sana pāī asīsā | citrakūṭa āyau jagadīsā ||
taham̐ kari muninha kera santokhā | calā bimāna tahām̐ te cokhā ||
बहुरि राम जानकिहि देखाई । जमुना कलि मल हरनि सुहाई ॥

तीरथपति पुनि देखु प्रयागा । निरखत जनम-कोटि-अघ भागा ॥
देखु परम-पावनि पुनि बेनी । हरनि सोक हरि लोक-निसेनी ॥
tīrathapati puni dekhu prayāgā | nirakhata janama-koṭi-agha bhāgā ||
dekhu parama-pāvani puni benī | harani soka hari loka-nisenī ||
पुनि देखु अवधपुरी अति पावनि । त्रिविधि-ताप भव-रोग नसावनि ॥
puni dekhu avadhapurī ati pāvani | trividhi-tāpa bhava-roga nasāvani ||
सीता सहित अवध कहँ, कीन्ह कृपाल प्रनाम ।
सजल नयन तन-पुलकित, पुनि पुनि हरषित राम ॥
sītā sahita avadha kaham̐, kīnha kṛpāla pranāma |
sajala nayana tana-pulakita, puni puni haraṣita rāma ||
पुनि प्रभु आइ त्रिवेनी, हरषित मज्जनु कीन्ह ।
कपिन्ह सहित बिप्रन्ह कह, दान विविध विधि दीन्ह ॥
