Rama asks Bharata to bear the burden

At home or in the forest, Rama says, the guru's grace guards us. The command of mother, father, guru and master is the Shesha that holds up the earth of all dharma. Do that yourself and let me do it too; dear brother, be the protector of the Sun's line. This one means is a Triveni of fame, good destiny and prosperity. Thinking this over, bear the heavy trouble and keep the people and household happy. Brother, the hardship is shared by all of us, but yours will be greatest, for the whole term. Knowing you are tender, I speak harshly; in bad times this is not wrong of me. A servant is like hands, feet and eyes, the master like the mouth; poets praise this as love's true way.
