The beauty of the Lord's form

Tulsidas describes the form Manu and Shatarupa beheld. A face like the autumn moon, a neck lined like a conch. Red lips, fine teeth and nose, and a smile that outshines the moon's rays. Eyes like fresh lotuses, a gentle glance that delights the heart, brows like Kama's bow, a radiant tilak on the forehead. Makara earrings, a crown on the head, curling locks like a swarm of bees. On the chest the Shrivatsa mark, a forest garland. Shoulders like a lion's, the sacred thread, arms adorned, a quiver at the waist, bow and arrow in hand. The yellow cloth outshines lightning, three fine lines mark the belly, and the navel seems to have taken the charm of a whirlpool in the Yamuna.
