Name above both Brahman and Rama
Rama gave refuge to Sugriva and Vibhishana; the name has raised countless humble souls. Rama gathered bears and monkeys and laboured to build the bridge; at the name, the ocean of becoming itself dries up. Rama killed Ravana and his clan, returned with Sita and ruled from Ayodhya while gods and sages sang his praise. Yet the servant who remembers the name with love conquers the army of delusion without effort and wanders happy, free of worry even in dreams. The doha concludes that the name is greater than both Brahman and Rama, the giver of boons to boon-givers, and that Mahesh, knowing this, chose it out of the hundred crore Ramayanas.
राम भालु-कपि-कटक बटोरा । सेतु-हेतु स्रम कीन्ह न थोरा ॥
नाम लेत भव-सिन्धु सुखाहीं । करहु विचार सुजन मन माहीं ॥

फिरत सनेहँ-मगन सुख अपनें । नाम प्रसाद सोच नहिँ सपनें ॥

phirata saneham̐-magana sukha apaneṃ | nāma prasāda soca nahim̐ sapaneṃ ||
ब्रह्म-राम-तेँ नाम बड़, बर दायक बर दानि ।
रामचरित-सत कोटि महँ, लिय महेस जियँ जानि ॥
brahma-rāma-tem̐ nāma bar̤a, bara dāyaka bara dāni |
