Janaka bows at the muni's feet and is blessed; he salutes the Brahmanas and rejoices in his fortune. Vishvamitra asks after his welfare and seats him. Just then the two brothers return from seeing the flower garden, dark and fair, tender in years, stealers of the world's heart. Everyone rises, and the muni seats them beside him. Eyes fill with tears and bodies thrill at the sight. Videha, already beyond the body, becomes doubly so on seeing that sweet form. Feeling his mind drowning in love, the king steadies himself, bows at the muni's feet and speaks in a voice choked with feeling.
