Narada sends troubled Garuda to Brahma
Garuda reasons with himself in many ways, but no light comes and error covers his heart. He falls under delusion just as Uma once did, Bhagwan Shiva tells her. Distressed, he goes to the devarishi Narada and lays his doubt before him. Narada feels great pity. Rama's maya is mighty, he says; it steals the minds even of the wise and forces delusion on them. The same maya has made me dance many times, and now it has seized you, lord of birds. This great delusion in your heart will not soon go by my words. Go to four-faced Brahma and do as he directs. Saying this, the wise Narada departs, singing Rama's glories and describing again and again the strength of Hari's maya.
