All seekers lean on the name
Yogis free of the world chant the name and wake to the bliss of Brahman, beyond name and form. Those who seek hidden truths come to know them through it. Seekers chant it with absorption and gain powers like anima. The distressed chant it and their troubles end. Rama's devotees are of four kinds, all sinless and noble, and for all four the name is the support; the jnani is especially dear to the Lord. In every yuga and every Veda the name has power, and in Kali above all, for there is no other means. Even those free of all desire, lost in devotion, keep their hearts a lake for the nectar of love for the name.
जाना चहहिं गूढ़ गति जेऊ । नाम जीहँ जपि जानहिँ तेऊ ॥
साधक नाम जपहिं लव लाये । होहिं सिद्ध अनिमादिक पाये ॥
jānā cahahiṃ gūr̤ha gati jeū | nāma jīham̐ japi jānahim̐ teū ||
sādhaka nāma japahiṃ lava lāye | hohiṃ siddha animādika pāye ||
जपहिँ नाम जन आरत भारी । मिटहिँ कुसङ्कट होहिं सुखारी ॥
राम भगत जग चारि प्रकारा । सुकृती चारिउ अनघ उदारा ॥

rāma bhagata jaga cāri prakārā | sukṛtī cāriu anagha udārā ||
चहूँ चतुर कहँ नाम अधारा । ज्ञानी प्रभुहि बिसेष पियारा ॥
चहुँ जुग चहुँ स्रुति ना प्रभाऊ । कलि बिसेष नहिँ आन उपाऊ ॥
cahūm̐ catura kaham̐ nāma adhārā | jñānī prabhuhi biseṣa piyārā ||
cahum̐ juga cahum̐ sruti nā prabhāū | kali biseṣa nahim̐ āna upāū ||
सकल कामना हीन जे, राम भगति रस लीन ।
नाम प्रेम पीयूष हद, तिन्हहूँ किये मन मीन ॥
sakala kāmanā hīna je, rāma bhagati rasa līna |
nāma prema pīyūṣa hada, tinhahūm̐ kiye mana mīna ||
