Bowing at the muni's lotus feet, the brothers set out, a joy to the eyes of the world. Crowds of boys, struck by their beauty, follow along. They wear yellow cloth with sashes at the waist, fine bows and arrows in their hands, sandal paste on bodies dark and fair. Shoulders like a lion's, long arms, a lovely necklace of gems on the chest; lotus eyes, faces like the moon that cool the three kinds of suffering. Golden flowers in their ears, a glance that steals the heart, gracefully curved brows and a tilak mark of rare beauty. Handsome caps on their heads over dark curling hair, the two brothers are lovely from toe to crown, every limb in perfect proportion.
