The spy describes Rama's army

Lord, says the spy, as you have asked kindly, hear the truth without anger. When your brother went and met Rama, at once he was given the tilak of kingship. The monkeys heard we were Ravana's spies, bound us and tormented us, and began to cut off our ears and noses; once we swore by Rama we were freed. You ask of Rama's army: a hundred crore mouths could not describe it. Bears and monkeys of many colours, huge, fierce-faced and fearsome. The one who burned the city and killed your son is among the least of them in strength. Countless warriors with hard names, each with the strength of countless elephants: Dvivida, Mainda, Nila, Nala, Angad, Vikatasya, Dadhimukha, Kesari, Kumuda, Gavaya, and Jambavan, a mass of strength.
