Bharata recalls Rama's kindness from childhood
Hearing the sage and seeing Rama's mood, Bharata finds guru and master fully kind and the whole burden on his head. Then he stands in the assembly, body thrilling, tears welling in his lotus eyes. The lord of sages has said all I could say; what more can I add? I know my Lord's nature. He is never angry even with an offender. His grace and love for me have been special; even in play I never saw him cross. From childhood he never left me or broke my heart. When I lost a game, he made me win. Out of love and shyness I never spoke to his face, and to this day my eyes thirst for the sight of him.
