The rains read as lessons for the wise

Rama goes on, each sight of the monsoon a teaching. The clouds roar in the sky, and without My beloved My heart is afraid. Clouds bend low to the earth to rain, as the learned bow on gaining knowledge. The hills bear the pelting drops as saints bear the words of the wicked. Small streams fill and burst their banks, like the wicked puffed up by a little wealth. Water gathers into ponds as virtues come to the good, and rivers reach the sea and grow still, as the soul finds rest on reaching Hari. Grass covers the ground until no path shows, as false doctrines hide the true scriptures.
