Bhavani's garland falls and she blesses Sita

Sita goes on: those who serve you easily gain the four fruits of life, O beloved of Tripurari, giver of boons; gods, men and munis all find happiness by worshipping your feet. You know my wish well, for you dwell in every heart, so I have not spoken it aloud. Saying this, she clasps the Devi's feet. Moved by her humility and love, Bhavani lets her garland slip, and the image smiles. Sita reverently places the prasad on her head. Gauri speaks with joy: my blessing is true, your heart's desire will be fulfilled. Narada's word never fails; the dark, gentle, compassionate groom your heart is set on will be yours. Sita and her friends return home glad, and her left side begins to throb, a sign of good fortune.
