Parvati confesses her past doubt

Parvati goes on: if there is some all-pervading Lord free of desire, explain him to me. In the forest I saw Rama's greatness, but in great fear I did not tell you. Even so my clouded mind did not understand, and I have reaped the fruit of that fully. Some doubt remains in my mind even now; be gracious, I beg with joined hands. That old delusion is gone; now my heart longs for Rama's katha. Tell me Rama's holy virtues, Lord of the devas, adorned with the king of serpents. Laying my head on the ground, I bow at your feet and plead: describe Raghuvara's pure glory, distilling the Shruti's conclusion.
