Messengers to Ayodhya, the pavilion begins

Vishvamitra advises sending envoys to Avadhpur to bring King Dasharatha. Janaka gladly agrees and dispatches them at once. He then summons the leading citizens, who come and bow, and tells them to adorn the markets, roads, homes and temples on every side of the city. They go home rejoicing. Janaka next calls his servants and orders a wonderful canopy built; they take the command on their heads and go. Many skilled craftsmen who know the art of pavilions are called. Bowing to Brahma they begin, raising pillars like golden plantain trees, with leaves and fruit of emerald and blossoms of ruby. Seeing the marvel, even Brahma's mind is bewildered.
