Bhakti is the easy road, through satsang
If you want happiness here and in the next world, Shri Rama tells the citizens, hold fast to my words. Bhakti in me is the easy, joyful road the Vedas and Puranas sing. Jnana is hard to reach and full of obstacles, its disciplines severe, and one who wins it by toil is still not dear to me without devotion. Bhakti stands on its own and holds every joy, yet no one gains it without satsang, and saints are met only through great merit. The one merit above all is honouring the Brahmanas' feet in thought, deed and word. Then, hands joined, Rama shares a secret: without bhajan of Shankara no one gains devotion to him.
