How to cross the ocean

Those who leave such a Lord to worship another are beasts without tail or horns. Rama takes Vibhishana as His own, and the monkeys love the Lord's nature. Then the all-knowing One, who dwells in every heart and takes a human form to end the demon race, speaks as a keeper of statecraft. Sugriva, lord of Lanka, how shall we cross this deep sea, full of crocodiles, serpents and fish, so hard to pass? Vibhishana answers: Raghunayak, your arrow could dry up a crore of oceans, yet policy says go and ask the Ocean humbly. The Ocean is an elder of your own line; he will think and tell a way, and all the bears and monkeys will cross without effort.
