Dasharatha's message for Sita, Sumantra goes

If the two steadfast brothers will not return, Dasharatha says, for Raghuraja is firm in his vow, then join your palms and plead: Lord, send back the princess of Mithila. When Sita grows afraid of the forest, tell her that her parents-in-law say: daughter, come back, the forest is full of hardship. Stay sometimes at your father's house and sometimes with us, wherever you like. If she returns, my life will have a support. Otherwise I shall die. Saying this, the king falls fainting to the ground: bring Rama, Lakshmana and Sita and let me see them. Sumantra bows, readies a swift chariot and goes outside the city where the two brothers wait with Sita.
