Freed from maya, Bhushundi shares his experience
Kakbhushundi tells Garuda that he stayed a while in Ayodhya watching the child Rama at play, received the boon of bhakti, bowed and flew home to his ashram. Since the day Raghunayaka made him His own, maya has never caught him again. Now he gives his own experience. Without Hari's bhajan, suffering does not go. Without Rama's grace no one knows Rama's greatness; without knowing there is no faith, without faith no love, and without love bhakti will not hold, as oil will not stay on water. Is there knowledge without a guru, or detachment without knowledge, or rest without contentment? A boat will not move without water, however one strains.
