Delusion lies in the seer, not Rama

Shiva explains: the ignorant do not see their own error and foolishly lay their delusion on the Lord, as the unthinking, seeing clouds in the sky, say the sun is covered. Delusion about Rama, Uma, is like darkness, smoke and dust appearing in the sky. The objects, the senses, their presiding devas and the jiva are each lit by the one before; Rama, the beginningless Lord of Avadha, is the supreme illuminer of all. The world is what is lit, and Rama is the light, master of Maya. By his reality inert Maya seems real, helped by delusion. Like silver seen in a shell or water in the sun's rays, it is false in all three times, yet no one can shake off the illusion.
