Shri Rama says and does whatever pleases Sita and Lakshmana, telling them ancient kathas that they hear with joy. Yet whenever he remembers Avadh, his eyes fill. Recalling mother, father, kin, and Bharata's love and service, the ocean of compassion grows sad, then steadies himself, knowing the time is adverse. Seeing him so, Sita and Lakshmana grow troubled too, as a shadow follows a man. Noticing this, the patient and kind Lord begins some holy katha, and they are comforted. In the doha the leaf hut with Shri Rama, Lakshmana and Sita shines like Amaravati with Indra, Shachi and Jayanta.
