The water's virtues; turning to the frame

The poet's distress and humility are the lightness of this water, not a fault. It heals by being heard, quenches the thirst of desire and washes the mind. It nourishes love for Rama, removes Kali's stains, dries the weariness of worldly life and ends sin and poverty. It destroys lust, anger and delusion and increases discernment and dispassion. Those who have not washed their minds in it are cowards cheated by Kali, who will chase mirages like thirsty deer. The dohas: having bathed his mind in these virtues, remembering Bhavani and Shankar, the poet turns to the meeting and dialogue of the two great sages.
