दूरि ते ताहि सबन्हि सिर नावा । पूछें निज वृत्तान्त सुनावा ॥
तेहिं तब कहा करहु जल पाना । खाहु सुरस सुन्दर फल नाना ॥
dūri te tāhi sabanhi sira nāvā | pūcheṃ nija vṛttānta sunāvā ||
tehiṃ taba kahā karahu jala pānā | khāhu surasa sundara phala nānā ||

From a distance the monkeys bow to the ascetic woman, and when she asks, they tell her their purpose. She tells them to drink water and eat the many sweet, juicy fruits. Then she tells them her own story and says, I will now go to where Raghurai is. Close your eyes and you will be out of the cave; you will find Sita, do not lose heart. They shut their eyes, open them, and stand on the seashore. She goes to Raghunatha, bows her head at His lotus feet and prays to Him in many ways, and the Lord grants her unfailing bhakti. Taking His command on her head, holding in her heart the feet that Brahma and Shiva worship, she goes to Badarivan.
