No wonder in this, for it has gone on age after age; whom has Raghubir not raised to greatness? Bharata meets Rama's friend with love and asks after his welfare. Shyness, affection and joy swell in him, and he stands gazing at Bharata unblinking. Then, steadying himself, he bows at Bharata's feet again and pleads with joined palms. Having seen the lotus feet that are the root of all welfare, I count myself well in all three times. Now by your supreme grace, lord, my line for ten million generations is blessed. Knowing my deeds and my birth, and seeing the Lord's greatness, whoever does not worship Raghubir's feet is cheated by fate.
