Kakbhushundi tells Garuda he has sung the Lord's power only as far as his understanding reaches, adding no clever devices; he saw it all with his own eyes. Rama's names, forms and deeds are endless. Munis sing them each by his own capacity, and still the Vedas, Shesha and Shiva never reach the far shore. Birds from Garuda down to the gnat fly the sky and none finds its end. Then come comparisons, each a hundred crore times over. Rama is lovelier than a hundred crore Kamadevas, crushes foes like countless Durgas, is mighty as a hundred crore winds, bright as a hundred crore suns, cool as a hundred crore moons, hard to overcome as Kala.
