A one-verse Sanskrit record cut into the rock to say that the Turks who came into Kamarupa were destroyed.

What it says

‘In the Shaka year 1127, on the thirteenth day of the month of Madhu (Chaitra), the Turushkas, having come into Kamarupa, met their destruction.’ The year is written in word-numerals.

What it proves

It confirms from the Kamarupa side what the Tabaqat-i-Nasiri admits: Bakhtiyar Khalji’s army, marching through Kamarupa towards Tibet, was destroyed.
