Ayasya Angirasa's third gayatri sukta. The Soma drops, grown strong on the mountain, are released for the feast of the Devas like skilled racehorses. Adorned like a maiden who brings her father's dowry, they are sent to Vayu. Pressed in the bowls and full of nourishment, they strengthen Indra by their deeds. The rishi calls to the priests with skilled hands: run here, take up the bright drops with the stirring mixture, and blend the gladdening juice with milk. Soma, winner of wealth and knower of the way, is asked to bring great bounty. Ten fingers groom Pavamana, the joy for Indra.
