Brihanmati Angirasa sings in gayatri and addresses Soma as 'lofty-minded'. Swiftly he is asked to flow, in his dear form, to where the Devas are said to be. Making ready what was unprepared and bringing food to the people, he is to stream down the rain of heaven. Pressed, he comes to the filter carrying brilliance with power, far-seeing and shining. Fast-moving from beyond heaven, he has poured forth on the filter like a river's wave. Pressed far away and near, the honey is poured for Indra. Singing together, the priests urge the tawny one with stones: sit in the womb of rita.
