What happens in this chapter

In Joy You Are the Giver of All

Kashyapa Asita or Devala addresses Pavamana Soma in gayatri, and each verse closes with madeṣu sarvadhā asi, 'in your joys you are the giver of all'. The mountain-dwelling Soma, pressed, has flowed in the filter. He is the inspired one, the poet, the honey born of the plant. All the Devas, of one accord, have shared his drink. He holds every desirable treasure in his two hands. He milks the two great worlds, Heaven and Earth, like two mothers, and at once flows round them both with strength. Purified in the kalashas, the mighty one has roared.
