Sunu Arbhava praises the Ribhus in the first verse and Agni in the rest, in anushtubh and gayatri. The sons of the Ribhus have helped the great communities; all-nourishing, they took the earth as a calf takes its mother cow. Bring forward the deva Jatavedas with a divine thought, so that he carries our offerings in order. This hotar, devoted to the devas, is led to the yajna; like a chariot, glowing, he is known by himself. This Agni guards us as if from an immortal birth; stronger than strength, the deva was made for life.
