Urdhvagravan Sarpa Arbudi speaks to the gravans, the stones that press soma, in gayatri. May the deva Savitar urge you on by his law, stones; be yoked to the poles and press. Drive away misfortune, drive away ill will; make the cows a medicine. The stones, of one accord, are honoured on the lower stones, giving bull's strength to the bull. May Savitar urge you on by his law for the yajamana who presses. In four verses the tools of the yajna themselves are praised and sent to their work.
