What happens in this chapter

Ushas, come on your fair chariot

A short anushtubh sukta of Praskanva Kanva. Ushas is asked to come from the bright place of heaven with blessings, drawn by ruddy horses to the house where Soma is pressed. Her chariot is well made and easy. At her coming the winged birds, the two-footed and the four-footed all stir. She lights the whole shining world with her rays, and the Kanvas, wanting wealth, call her with songs.
