Copper plates of Prolaya Nayaka of the Musunuri family, who led the Andhra nayakas to throw off Tughluq rule after the fall of Warangal in 1323.

What it says

After Prataparudra, it says, the land fell to the Turushkas. It describes the time that followed: temples broken, the agraharas of Brahmanas taken, people tortured to give up their wealth, and dharma at an end. Prolaya Nayaka then rose, restored the agraharas and the worship, and here grants the village of Vilasa to a Brahmana.

What it proves

It is an Andhra record, close to the events, of the Tughluq occupation and of the nayakas’ fight back that made way for Vijayanagara.
