Sundarar left one padigam on Tiruthinainagar. The temple tank is Jambuva Thadagam: the temple’s katha says a rishi who had been born as a bear for past deeds bathed here, worshipped Shiva and was freed. Another temple katha tells of a couple who fed Shiva’s devotees before they ate each day, and of Shiva coming to them as an old devotee when no other could be found. The konrai is the sthala tree. Images of the four Samaya Acharyas stand in the temple.
