Trita Aptya's second sukta, again in gayatri. Pressed with a strong stream, Indu is urged on and flows, breaking firm strongholds with his might. He runs for Indra, Vayu, Varuna, the Maruts and Vishnu. The bull, held by strong men, is pressed with stones, and they milk his juice with skill. He becomes the one Trita grooms and the one who gladdens Indra, and the tawny one is anointed with bright forms. The sons of Prishni milk him on the height of rita, the dearest offering. The songs flow straight to him, and the bellowing bull calls to the milch cows.
