Nrimedha Angirasa addresses Pavamana Soma in gayatri. The streams of the pressed bull have flowed with strength, attending on the Devas. The ordainers, singing, groom the courser with song, the light that is born, worthy of hymns. Soma, rich in goods, is asked to make the praiseworthy ocean swell. Winning all treasures, he is urged to flow in a stream and drive the hostile away together. He is asked to guard the singers from the ungenerous and from the voice of anyone at all, so that they may be freed from blame. The closing verse asks for earthly and heavenly wealth and bright strength.
