Dridhachyuta Calls Soma to the Maruts

Dridhachyuta Agastya praises Pavamana Soma in gayatri. The tawny one, accomplisher of skill, is asked to flow for the Devas to drink, a joy for the Maruts and for Vayu. Set in motion by prayer, he roars toward his seat and by rule enters Vayu. The bull shines with the Devas, the dear poet in his seat, slayer of obstructions. Entering all forms, the lovely one goes, purified, to where the immortals sit. Ruddy, bringing forth songs, Soma flows continually toward Indra. The most joyous poet is asked to flow in a stream to the filter and sit in the seat of the hymn.
