Bright and Purifying, Slayer of Ill Speech

Kashyapa Asita or Devala sings of the Pavamana drops in gayatri. The Somas have run forward and, mixing themselves, are groomed in the waters. The milk has run toward them like waters flowing downhill, and, purified, they have reached Indra. Soma runs for Indra's drinking, held and led by men. He is the gladdener of men, flowing for the one who conquers peoples. When pressed with the stones he runs around the filter, enough for Indra's seat. He is called bright and purifying, wondrous, the Devas' helper and slayer of the one who speaks evil.
