Tenth Valakhilya: one Agni kindled many ways

Medhya Kanva's three trishtubh verses, the tenth Valakhilya sukta, are to all the gods, the first perhaps to the priests. When the priests, of one mind, shape the yajna in many ways, and a learned brahmana is yoked to it, what is the yajamana's understanding there? The second verse is often recited: one Agni is kindled in many places, one Surya pervades everything, one Ushas shines over all this; the One has become all this. The last verse calls the Ashvins to their bright three-wheeled chariot, easy to sit in, to drink what is left over.
