May the divine Waters help me

Four verses by Vasishtha to the Waters, each ending 'may the divine Waters help me here'. With the ocean as their eldest, they flow from the middle of the flood, purifying, never resting; Indra, the vajra-bearing bull, cut their channels. They are the waters of heaven and those that flow, dug out or self-born, bright and purifying, whose goal is the sea. In their midst goes King Varuna, looking down on the truth and falsehood of men. In them Varuna, Soma and all the gods find strength and joy, and into them Agni Vaishvanara has entered.
