Indra and Soma found the sun

Bharadvaja Barhaspatya praises Indra and Soma together in trishtubh, five mantras of their first great deeds. They found the sun and the light, and struck down all darkness and every scorner. They make the dawn shine and lead the sun up with its light; they propped up heaven with a pillar and spread out mother earth. They slew Ahi, Vritra, who lay round the waters, and heaven approved; they sent the river floods forward and filled the many seas. They placed the cooked milk within the raw cows. The poet asks them for a rescuing wealth with offspring and for manly strength that wins in battle.
