Atri Bhauma teaches in Trishtubh that the Ashvins, who come at dawn, must be worshipped first, before the greedy and ungenerous one can drink. Worship them in the morning; the evening offering does not please the Devas. Whoever sacrifices earlier is the better sacrificer. Their chariot has a golden skin, is honey-coloured and drips with ghee, swift as thought and the wind, and with it they pass beyond every danger. The one who serves the Nasatyas best and shares out food with them is blessed in his children and always prevails. The last verse repeats the prayer of 5.76 for new help and every blessing.
